The Medimar International Hospital is a fully-equipped hospital complex based in the city of Alicante. Its has two buildings providing two distinct types of medical and healthcare, one for Inpatients and Surgery and the other for Outpatients and Medical & Surgical Specialities. The complex is spread over more than five thousand square metres and has 66 single inpatient rooms, Intensive Care Unit, Accident & Emergency, Day Hospital, surgical suite with eight operating theatres and an outpatients consultation area. The medical team consists of over 120 collaborating doctors and more than 100 healthcare workers.

The Center, which was born in order to provide high quality medical assistance, has been progressively incorporating diagnostic and therapeutic most advanced technology, such as Axial Computerized Tomography (TAC), Nuclear Medicine, lithotripsy, MRI and PET, among others, in addition to differential services as Urology unit.
